I finally got rid of my company. Phew! I am so excited to go home after work today...not that I'm not excited to leave work everyday.
The owner of some of the properties I manage was visiting from California and I sure am glad I made a lot of dinner last night -- he's a little guy, but he never stops moving so he can really pack away the food. He ate over a 1/4 of a gallon of ice cream, over a 1/3 of the cassarole, most of the salad, a piece of pie and then more ice cream. Wow.
It looks like he might sell his pool route in Santa Barbara and buy more rental houses. And another friend of my dad may be selling his pool route in Las Vegas and buying a rental in Lewiston/Clarkston for me to manage. [Note: most people will say "a friend of my dad's", but that's just redundant. The "of my" already denotes possession, FYI]
The title of today's entry is brought to you by dinner with Clem and her mother. We were hysterical at the restaurant last week, I guess you had to be there, fun with alliteration.
It's 73 degrees, on its way to 95. I love this weather, pretty sure it's not going to last. Last year we had hundred degree weather for 2 months straight. It was great sitting out on the lawn on campus reading for an hour at lunch. Oh well, at least I'm not in Florida.
