Puppies and Pay

The president of the university announced that we get two extra days of paid holidays this year in appreciation for sticking around this stink hole of a university. Or something like that. I've prepared a thank you card to him from the department, but, as one staf member pointed out, our thank you is that we haven't quit. I heard from someone on campus stating how unfair it is because she had scheduled a vacation then anyway and some people who had to work had scheduled time off the week before Christmas so they get two weeks and she only gets one. What a wanker. Hello! Bright side is you're now getting to keep your vacation time. Relax.

I'm going to take pictures of puppies tonight. They get their picture taken every week but now it takes a bit longer since we have to stack them (put them in dog show pose). Bright side is that Michelle's husband is making dinner for me. It might be late since he's going hunting, but hey, I don't have to do anything.
