Equestrian Extravaganza

I spoke to the faculty member and I was extremely smiley and bubbly. She seemed OK when I left her office. The next day, I told the associate chair that things seemed to be all smoothed out and he asked if she had apologized. Well, no. But it seems like she's going to drop her big stink. We'll see how the receptionist reacts when that faculty member wants photocopies.

Michelle's husband finally got a horse. Michelle was looking for one for him two years ago when she bought hers. She's beautiful brown with a white stripe on her nose and brown mane and tail. I always wanted a brown horse with a white diamond and a black mane and tail. Her name is Marla Hooch Sassafrass Banana Hammock. I voted for Crap Bag. She's called Marla, Hooch, and Sassy. That's going to be one confused horse. I went out to their house yesterday and rode her around the pasture a few times. I hadn't been on a horse since I was about 15...Going on 15 years and it wasn't that bad.

Today, I'm leaving at 11:30. I'm stopping by the DMV to renew my registration ($78 for 2 years) and then home because I get to watch Megan since Michelle's normal day care provider is closed today. What a way to use comp time.
