Could Be Worse...I Think

I received a series of offline instant messages from Clem:

my parents are sooo not cool. they volunteered to chaperone after prom and grad night. I know it's probably not that big of a deal in the scheme of things but honestly, how inconsiderate.

gosh. freakin idiots, gosh. they're ruining my life and eating all my steak! [ed. note: I think this is from Napolean Dynamite, but being the only person in the world who thought that movie sucked, I could be wrong.]

would THEY have wanted THEIR parents to chaperone? ah, no! and neither do I...I mean what if I get a date? won't that be awkward, it'll be like one of those really conservative religions where the parents join the kids on the date.
