It's time for a game of "She Said, She Said". When are people going to learn that a) this is a small town and b) if you tell my friend something and tell her not to tell me, she's going to tell me anyway. I have a co-worker who has two helpers for her job, she always complains that she has too much to do, and she's never here. I know that she hasn't worked a full week since I've been back from vacation. Actually, probably since before I went on vacation. She comes in and says she worked until midnight the night before and came in at 6:00 that morning. Well, imagine that, she's not here and then complains about too much work.
Well, she went to lunch with my friend today and proceeds to tell her that I don't do anything and that there should be supervision in the office and that I am not capable of doing my job. After she told me last week that I should get reclassed to the higher level. She also claims that she wants a boss. I don't think she could handle one. I did supervise everyone until she got reclassed and then it was more of a flat organizational chart. Now she says it's my fault for not being a boss. Excuse me, honey, but it was your idea to redo the organizational chart. Methinks someone needs to grow up. So she was a bitch for the past however long and all of a sudden she's in a good mood and nice to be around because she's made a decision to stick around until December. I don't believe it for a minute. Everytime she's said she's going to stay, I find out she's interviewed elsewhere. She should have made the decision to move if she's so unhappy. But, that would mean moving to the same state as her husband and that scares her. Her husband, not her ex-husband. Weird. I was fine with all of this. She can say what she wants. Whatever. I'll be the bigger person. Until I found out that she doesn't like the nicest person in the department. What?! That's just insane! If she can't get along with her, then I say good riddance. I'm washing my hands of her. So there! :)> [stamping of the foot included]
