It says it's 59 degrees, but I think the windchill factor is not taken into account because it is a bit nippy out there. I spent the night at Stacey's last night to watch the kid since she still has a couple of puppies and her husband is out of town so it's easier for her to do chores without the kid. There was quite a bit of ice on her car this morning, so I don't know how cold it got in town. Hopefully, it wasn't too bad since I did cover my tomatoes before I left.

Tonight, a couple of her friends (her vet and his girlfriend) are coming out to watch a scary movie. She also has the tape of the heart echo from the appointment of one of the puppies that we'll watch since her friend can tell us what we're looking at. I made sure to bring a book so I don't have to watch the scary movie. Unfortunately, I'm about 40 pages into this book and it's not really holding my attention as well as I would like. I don't do well with scary movies.

We sat down to watch Grey's Anatomy last night and I was immediately covered with the dogs, slobber and hair included. I accused her of never petting them. That woman can't sit still for two minutes. At the first commercial, she decides to Dremel that dogs' nails and clean their ears. My God, woman, sit down! Then she gets up at 5:00 this morning to clean the downstairs since it's been a week and with all of the dogs, it was time, especially since company's coming tonight. Even when we have our girl's weekends, she can't sit in the hotel at night and watch a movie, she has to work on websites or something. She's trying to get off at 4:30 today so we can get the pizza, pick up the kid, and get out there so she can clean the upstairs and take pictures of one of the puppies before the people come over. Insane. Glad I don't have that problem.
