The cat came in, walked across the carpet and jumped on the couch, as she usually does. I noticed the muddy footprints and went to yell at her when I realized there was blood as well. I took her into the kitchen and watched her create bloody footprints to determine she wasn't limping. I put some cornstarch and pressure on it and it's stopped bleeding. I'll watch it for infection, but she seems OK.
I went to clean up the kitchen after dinner and she got under my feet, my socks slid, and I went down. No broken hips, but I'll be feeling it in the morning.
My mom sent me a text message to say that my great-uncle (96 years old), had a heart attack a couple of days ago, had to be resuscitated at the hospital and has yet to open his eyes. That doesn't sound good.
I've had to type this with one hand because the cat's in the other.
Great, now she gets down.
