Don't mess with me and my food. I got home and sent an e-mail:
During my visit to my local KFC today, I encountered an ever-increasing inconvenience in my dining experience: the lack of original recipe (this time it was combined with the lack of dark meat). I am one of those people who order the same thing at every restaurant I frequent. I have been able to count on KFC for original recipe, something that doesn't seem to be too much of a demand considering it started the company.
There are a few times (eg 4th of July weekends) where I can dismiss this incident as a fluke, however, it doesn't seem to matter what day of the year or time of the day it is; there is not the product I ventured out for. There is always an excuse: large family meals ordered that day, or in this case, the new offering of the combo pack. Today, I was told that they usually run out of dark meat and end up throwing away a lot of the white meat. It seems that this is not rocket science and frequently running out would be easily rectified by increasing the order for original recipe (an icon of the KFC menu) and dark meat, and should have been considered a long time ago.
