Tomorrow is the release of the last book of the Harry Potter series (in case you've been living under a rock). I'm planning on coming into town tomorrow morning (I'm housesitting about 20 minutes away now) and then going to the farmer's market, running to Walmart, cleaning and anything else while waiting for the mail. Once I have the book, I'll go back to housesitting and sit out on the porch to read. That's the plan, anyway. Last time, the book came in the mail around 11:00am, but they have until 7:00pm to deliver it. It's killing me now, I'd hate to have to wait until tonight or tomorrow. The dogs need to be fed between 5:00 and 6:00 so if it doesn't come by 5:00 then I'll have to leave and come back. I'm pretty sure it'll come in the morning's mail. OK, I just tracked it. It arrived in Pullman an hour ago. So they're probably transferring it to USPS today and ta-da! Is (was) Harry a horcrux? What happened with Sirius's brother and Voldemort? Is Neville still involved? Was the locket actually destroyed? Who's going to die?
In other news, the housesitting is going well. I didn't lock myself out. The dogs haven't eaten anything funny and they've done all their business outside instead of in their crates. I woke up extra early (4:30) and couldn't get back to sleep. I let the kitten out and played with him for an hour before going down to feed the dogs. I was still really early so when I went to let out the chickens and feed the horses, I stayed down and pet the horses and mule for a while. I still made it to work early, even with stopping at the grocery store for breakfast.
