I bought my San Diego tickets on Friday. And then went shopping on Sunday. It's probably wise to not immediately look at one's credit card statement after such a spending spree. Considering the San Diego air fare, hotel, rental car, and two play tickets came out to $10 less than just the hotel in San Francisco, I feel good about spending that money. And, for all intents and purposes, I really needed a pair of jeans and khakis (probably not the three tops and sweater) so I don't feel bad about that...well, kinda, but not enough to return anything.
I wore my new jeans last night and noticed that my zipper was down. Since the zipper staying up in the last pair was a big problem, I complained to Stacey. She told me to go to the doctor, "Perhaps you have a magnetic va-jay-jay." Do you suppose that there's any way I can parlay that into a superhero career?
I organized the 3rd Annual Departmental Iced Tea Social. I bought new teas, I made three different kinds of bread, I bought cheese and salami and Triscuits (I recommend the cracked pepper and olive oil flavor). I posted flyers and sent out reminder e-mails. Only 5 people showed up. Well, screw you, too. OK, I'm finished, the 3rd annual is the last.
I love the weather, it rained yesterday and is threatening it now. It smells so fresh and clean outside. It's a little cool outside which is good since it's the first day of the semester and now I get to watch the tank-topped sorority girls freeze. It's supposed to be in the high 80s by the weekend.
