I bought new boots last night so I put my shoe chains on them and walked to work. I met Stacey in the parking lot and she told me that I'd regret not wearing my shoe chains. I looked down and they were no longer on my shoes. We got in her car and retraced my steps. We found the first one about 2 blocks from my house and the other about 2 yards from my house.

When we stopped to pick up the first one, a cop car with lights on went by. Then another that turned up the alley by the bank. On the way back, we drove by that way and there were three cop cars parked on the street near the bank and one in the alley. We saw one cop walking by the drive-through and another one with his back against a garage in the alley and his hand on his holster. Hope it was a false alarm.
