I browsed abc.com for something to watch during my lunch and found that there are full episodes of My So-Called Life on there for the release of the dvds. Cool. I could only watch the first half of the pilot, but all of the quotes came back to me. When the premiered, I couldn't watch it -- all that teen angst -- but if you watch it a lot and know the characters and the lines, it's a lot better. Still a few uncomfortable, "oh sweetie, don't do that" moments.
In a party scene, I was singing along with the band, but for the life of me couldn't think of the artist or song title (It was Animalbag's "Everbody", thank you, Google). Ahh, the memories.
"My parents keep asking how school was...it's like asking about that drive by shooting. You don't care how it was, you're just lucky to get out alive."
