Here I go dreaming again. I was IM-ing with Clementine this morning and we were talking about changing her academic major, her study abroad program, and her graduation trip. She's thinking of changing her major to International Relations with emphases on political science and economics. The program will take an extra year, but she'd graduate with both a bachelor's and a master's. That would mean that I'd have an extra year to save up for her graduation trip. We've talked before about Italy, Australia, New York, and Florida, but today she mentioned Greece. I've had my eye on a Mediterranean cruise for a couple of years that goes everywhere in Italy that I want and to Greece (among other places). But now, I'm thinking just Italy and Greece. They have ferries between Venice and near Athens.
I did a little bit of on-line reading about Greece (work?) and will perhaps look into some guide books this weekend. I do have until 2011. And it will be cost prohibitive, but it's nice to look into things like that.
She is going to apply for the study abroad program in Bordeaux for next Spring. That may be advantages. I can go see her and then get to Europe and not have to pay for her. Then, when she graduates, we can go somewhere less expensive. A girl can dream.
