Nothing like killing a mouse to wake you up in the morning. The cat brought one in (could be the same from yesterday) about 30 minutes ago so I put it outside. I tried to block the cat door so the cat couldn't go back outside, but she circumvented my booty [sic] trap. I thought that I got smart and blocked it so she couldn't get back in, but she made it. The mouse was then severely injured and more rolled over than scurried so I took it out and took the shovel to it. Poor thing. I hope I did anyway, it is very dark in the alley.
