Last night's mouse was brought in at 11:00 (waiting just long enough for me to be in a dead sleep), so after I released it, I put the cover on the cat door and the cat was fine until about 3:00am when she wanted to go out. I let her out and instead of letting her back in at 4:15, I rolled over. I didn't let her in until 6:00.

Tonight, I decided to try putting the cover on before I went to bed, right after she came in around 9:00. She wanted in at 9:30 and when I turned on the outside light, she had a mouse. I waited for her to drop it (dead) before letting her in. She was meowing all over the place so I let her out and she was batting it around on the patio. I kinda looked, but didn't really want to know if it wasn't dead. It does seem to be though. I just heard her trying to get in downstairs. Guess I'll try letting her in again.
