I love my town.
On Saturday, I went over to the Bite of Seattle. It was a very easy drive in the morning. I didn't even have to get out of cruise control until Ellensburg. Then I got to I-5. I found a place to park and then I saw some beautiful photographs at the On Focus Photo booth. I even came away with bookmarks, note cards, and a print.
I had some good food -- gyro, chocolate covered pineapple on a stick, beignets (although they weren't the best I've had, they were good enough). I'm still craving the curly fries. I meant to leave around 5:00, but I didn't get out of the parking garage until 6:07...and not to I-5 until 6:34. Yeah, that's how long it takes me to get from my house to the other side of a neighboring town -- which is in a different state -- and this was like 3 miles. Once I hit the I-5 though, it was smooth sailing. Then I decided that the food I had was more lunch than dinner and since I left later than I intended, I wouldn't get home until after 11:00 so I had better stop for dinner. This, of course, was all brought about by the sign, after I'd been on the highway for only 20 minutes, that informed me that there was a Fatburger at the next right. :) Mmmm, Fatburger. And it was good.
The whole trip was only 575 miles.
Sunday, I did absolutely nothing. Then took KFC out to my dad's for dinner and then went housesitting. They have a large TV with HD and the guy insisted that once I'd seen HD, I would want it. Umm, can't tell the difference.
