On Friday, the financial person in Math told me that one of her faculty wanted me to help with a proposal and she told him not to bother me with it because I was busy with the retreat and the end of the grant year. She was right, but apparently didn't get to him before he asked my boss. So this week, I'm working on the budget and copy editing. I have to go to a seminar in Spokane all day Thursday and I leave work early on Friday to go to Coeur d'Alene for the retreat. I predict long hours through Wednesday. I can't wait for the host bar at the retreat on Saturday night.
Michelle and the baby are supposed to be here in one minute. I don't know if that'll happen. She was supposed to stop by on Thursday and didn't. I think she may be learning that everything takes longer when you have to haul around a kid and all of her stuff.
