I Do: Vegas, Baby

Michelle, her daughter, and I went to a wedding on Saturday. The more weddings I go to, the more convinced I am that the only way to do it is in Vegas. The wedding was just as I liked it: short and sweet. The flower girls walked down the aisle after the bride. Apparently, they were in the bathroom looking at their pretty selves in the mirror.

We went to the reception and left about ten minutes later. The DJ, introducing the couple was very loud so we both went to cover the baby's ears. Belly dancers came in with the couple and danced for a long time. Megan liked the thinner one, and cried at the fat one. There wasn't enough seating and more people were showing up so we decided to go to Michelle's and barbeque. I spent the night and the next morning we went to breakfast. I went down to the valley to do some property management stuff, came home and did some laundry, took an impromptu nap, and then went back to Michelle's for dinner. The poor babe is teething so she was a bit uncomfortable, but she's such a good baby that she would smile in between her wails. Poor thing.

My dad came back from his trip to North Dakota for the Model T that he bought on ebay. He said it was crap and he shouldn't have bought it, but he had his body man look at it and is now willing to give it a shot. In fact I think he now has it all apart and is ready to begin some of the body work. Considering he just got back on Saturday, I guess he was ready for another project.
