That's Odd

My cell phone rang a little while ago. It was a miracle that it actually rang (old phone) and that I heard it (old ears) from inside the file cabinet. I didn't recognize the area code so I didn't answer it. I didn't hear it beep with a new voice mail message so I had assumed it was a wrong number. I checked the phone and it was a cousin in Ohio. She left a message for me on my last birthday and I never called her back. We're just shy of a year later and she called to say she was thinking of me today so thought she'd give me a call. That's very odd. She's dated my uncle for about the last 10 years and they had plans to get married but have never done it. She lives in Ohio and he lives in California and they fly back and forth. My family's so weird. Not to mention that they're first cousins. No judgment. They're over 50 and past the child bearing age.

Can't help but wonder if there's an ulterior motive to the call. Although, of all of my family she is the least likely to have one.
