Resigned to...I Dunno

The bossman announced today that he has turned in his resignation, effective no later than September 1. My comfort level in my position is dependent on who accepts the position in his place. One person he mentioned, I don't think I can work with (before I took this position he told the woman to tell the receptionist, as her supervisor and in her performance evaluation, not to say "hey" when greeting him). If the bossman can browbeat the university into starting the new institute, then he said there'd be a place for me there. Of course, it was the process of getting it started that frustrated him so much that he resigned. I guess I just hang out and see what happens.
