My packages have been going astray. I ordered a couple of ornaments (with pictures of our trip to Walt Disney World on them) and they were MIA. That order is being reissued so hopefully it shows up. Unfortunately, I didn't receive tracking information for the replacement order.
Then I ordered a memory foam mattress topper (with Amazon gift certificate and birthday money) and after tracking it for a week, was all ready to open the door for delivery yesterday when I saw the status of "on truck for delivery" as of 7:00 yesterday morning. Alas, I checked at 6:30pm and it was the same status. I checked at 8:30pm and the status was from 2:54pm: "delivered, left on porch, no signature required." Umm, no. I'm hoping it was delivered to Jefferson Street or something (I've received several items for them) and the people will realize and leave it on my porch. I can't remember anything I've ever ordered not coming. This is weird.
In other news, after sending out my Christmas cards, I found a wrong word. I think I'll send out a mass e-mail to my list so everyone nows that im litrate enuf to now the diffrence. How embarrassing.
Speaking of which, we're hiring a replacement for a departing co-worker and in going over the applications I found:
"All of my jobs have reuired [sic] that I be accurate.. "
"...manipulate and maintain a large database of financial records with persision [sic] and accuracy."
And the guy who misspelled experience (-ance) throughout his application.
Is this grounds for no interview?
