I went horseback riding on Sunday...whose idea was it to go riding in twelve degree weather? Even more importantly, who was the idiot who agreed to go horseback riding in twelve degree weather? I am the latter. It probably wouldn't have been that bad if it hadn't taken so long to saddle the horses..interrupted by phone calls and the mule that got out. We were out there for about 2 hours and when we were finished, we gave all the visiting kids rides up and down the driveway so I was taking pictures with fingers that were about to fall off. It took me about 3 hours to get comfortably warm.

I went to the birthday party on Saturday and was quite bored, but had agreed to be a designated driver for a couple of people and then they didn't even have the decency to drink too much so by the time we all left, they could drive themselves.

I finally met Stacey's sister-in-law. I've heard a lot about her over the years so it was interesting. She was quiet since she was in a lot of pain...she'd had a tummy tuck and boob job now that she's finished having her four kids. Having five kids at the party Saturday was amazing...they were all extremely quiet! Then Sunday, her in-laws invited other people to come over (rude) and their two kids were amazingly disruptive. And you want not believe the high note the 2 year old boy hit when screaming. Wow.

I had to go down to the valley to inspect an apartment. I called the tenant Friday to let him know that I couldn't narrow down the time (the letter I sent had said 8-noon) and he said that he hadn't come back from Christmas break yet and hadn't received the letter. Well, when we got there the stuff had been cleaned up and there was someone locked in a bedroom so I'm assuming that he came home and stuffed everything in there and then stayed there so we wouldn't go in. I think I scared him enough.
