The new boss said that he's releasing the new salary increase numbers this weekend so I've been glued to my work e-mail. Nothing, nothing, servers down, servers down, severs down, nothing and then (da da-da da)[fanfare], yay an e-mail with a big number! Unfortunately, it puts me in a different fringe bracket. But, better than the other direction. And health care costs are going to be increasing so between that and the fringes, I may make the same, hopefully not less, but, still, better than the other direction. Holy crap I make a lot of money for playing computer games all day.
Actually, the last couple of weeks have been pretty busy and I even got some comp time. Teach them to move me to another classification and take away my comp time bank. Now I earn comp time at time-and-a-half so if they thought I had a lot before...mwahahaha.
I'm taking four hours tomorrow because Megan's day care is closed. Her mom will take off the morning and I'll have her in the afternoon. I have a prospective court date for evicting those dead-beat tenants on April 30 so another afternoon off.
In other news, I planted my "garden" this weekend. Basically what that means is that I put seeds in the ground that have no chance in hell of doing anything but decompose, but it's the thought that counts.
