For about three weeks now I've been meaning to state that when the fall comes, it comes fast. Went from going to the gym in the morning and coming out to pure light to coming out to pure darkness just about overnight. It's amazing.

We've been having some cool (normal) weather, but yesterday was warm, just to mess with my mind, I'm sure. I got home and opened all the doors to air out the house for a little while. That's probably be the last time until April. I took the opportunity to clean the kitchen...wipe out the drawers, clean out the 'fridge. Ahh, I can't wait to go home and admire it today.

Congratulations to Christy and Jer who are tying the knot...strapping on the ol' ball and chain...getting hitched this evening. I read an e-mail forward quite a few years ago about "saving the fork." When at a potluck meal and the plates are cleared, one is told to save the fork for dessert because the best is yet to come (especially if I made the dessert). They've taken 7 1/2 years for the meal and now the dessert will last the rest of their lives. Well, more realistically, there'll be more meals, but hopefully, they'll always save room for dessert. Here's to saving the fork. Love ya.

Hmm, that seemed a bit sentimental...now back to your regularly scheduled sarcasm.

Geez. I'm tearing up over here! That doesn't bode well for this evening...
