Driving into town this morning from housesitting, I had several substance that were not entirely water hit the car. In fact, I think a few of them were actually snow. But, it was 40 degrees. On the bright side, it's supposed to be 85 on Saturday -- I'll ignore the 59 next Tuesday. It's supposed to be 86 in Sandpoint on Saturday which is where I'll be at the Lost in the '50s car show. Yay.
I left work at noon on Friday and went to Wal-Mart and the grocery store and the hardware store. I bought a new sprinkler and automatic timer for the garden and did a little weeding. Then I got take-out and went to my dad's for dinner. I don't know how much I like this housesitting for his neighbors. It seems awfully close.
On Saturday, I volunteered at the graduation reception for the college and then went to a graduation party. Had a burger (elk) and some cake and ice cream (with Magic Shell!). And about 6 of the devilled eggs that I brought. I brought 40, but they went fast...with a lot of my help. Then went up the road to housesitting. It would be more enjoyable if the satellite weren't out. I've just about finished the book I'm reading and will have to get another since I'll probably finish it tonight and tomorrow is my last night. The book is a novel that takes place in Spokane. Well written and a lot easier to read at night then the Dostoyevsky that I was re-reading. I really need to buy some new books -- although I had forgotten how humorous Dostoyevsky can be. Also, I can't believe that there are people who have never heard of Dostoyevsky, but there are.

Oh, Magic Shell! I'd forgotten about Magic Shell. We just started buying the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. Those are really yummy too.
I like the mint Skinny Cow sandwiches. Tasty and refreshing.
