The Good, The Bad, and The Incompetent

The bad financial person left, the good, but temporary, financial person started and already things are looking up. Today is the new personnel admin/bossman's assistant's first day. She's at orientation right now. I have to show her around the department this afternoon. There was an error in Human Resources and they listed her birth year as 1982 and 1983. She's probably thirty or so, but I'm terrible at ascertaining ages.

Did you know that anything that is the top, the best or the seat of government is a capital, but the building that government is performed in is a capitol? Go figure.

Michelle and her mother and I went to Lewiston to go maternity shopping. Michelle is really upset about getting bigger so it's really fun to tease her. She's gained 4 pounds and I can see a little bit of a tummy. She's due in January.

I went out to her house for dinner last week and we fed the horse Sweet-tarts and apples. The apples make her foamy and the candy turns it colors. Fun for the whole family. I led the horse to another area so we could take the dogs down to run around in the pasture and we grabbed the four chickens who don't come out of the coop (they're younger than the others and the rooster picks on them) and put them outside, a little bit away from the coop. One of the chickens is one that I picked out so I'm thinking of a name for her. I hate chickens.

I meant to come into work this weekend, but I ended up sitting on my ass watching a marathon of a made for cable series. Oops.
