I renewed my car license this week. $59.50 for two years. Wow, I'm on my way to the poorhouse. I can't believe how inexpensive it is in Idaho.

I also had to pay a parking ticket. I had the departmental permit when I ran work-related errands. I was in the lot for 2 hours and 45 minutes. The permit is only good for 2 hours. $35. I'm sorry I didn't move my car, but I was a little busy trying to get the $10.3M grant out the door.

I also have to renew my website registration this month and I have a hair appointment that includes color that I may have to cancel. Sheesh. Money sucks when you don't have it.

Having said that, Girl's Weekend 2007: Omaha! is in less than a month and the Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival is only a week after that. I'll have enough saved for Omaha!, but The City is another matter. Clem mentioned maybe not being able to afford to go to San Francisco so if that's the case, I either don't go, try to find a cheaper hotel, or try to find someone to go with me to split the cost of the good hotel...any takers? It's only a 15 hour drive from here.
