A is for Aptitude

So the challenge that I have (kinda) chosen to accept is to choose a word with each letter and then write something about it...I'll probably gt stuck at "C is for...", but I'll give it a shot.

I never took an aptitude test and there are probably better careers for me to have, but I still think I do an OK job.

I gave the receptionist a simple job of taking a list of items to be moved and mark each item with a bright pink Post-it note and clearly write the form and item number in a black marker pen on it so the movers can easily identify the items to be transferred and easily see if they have everything. What I got was a pale yellow Post-it with faint purple writing. Apparently, following specific instruction is outside her realm of talent.

Others who are not very apt at their jobs? State bridge inspectors. Lord knows that no one will hold them accountable though. On the radio this morning, the DJ noted that Washington's governor has stated that the state has a rigorous bridge inspection policy. The bridges are inspected every two years unless there is cause for it to be inspected more frequently. Umm, yeah, wasn't the bridge in Minnesota inspected every year? Thank goodness I don't have to cross a bridge on my 3/4 mile commute home.

Perhaps I should have saved this for I is for incompetence.
